Manuscript preparation and submission
Dear Authors, we provide some information here regarding manuscript preparation and submission.
Only registered participants of CSMAG’25 who have indicated interest in publishing and whose abstracts are presented at the conference may submit their respective manuscripts to IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. Furthermore, only one paper may be submitted per registered participant.
The journal submission portal will open after the conference concludes. The link and necessary information will be provided on this page in due course.
The manuscript review process will be automatically triggered upon submission. The sooner you submit your manuscript, the sooner you can expect review reports and a final decision. Accepted manuscripts will be immediately accessible as Early Access Articles via IEEE Xplore. Early Access Articles are accepted and peer-reviewed, but may not be fully edited or assigned to a publication issue or volume. All Early Access articles are fully citable as soon as they appear in IEEE Xplore.
Once the review process for all submitted articles from the CSMAG'25 conference is finalized, they will be assigned to a specific issue in which they will appear as regular articles. We expect this to take place in Spring 2026.
Since many of us, as well as the reviewers, will be on holiday in July and August, we anticipate that manuscript submission will remain possible until the beginning of October. Please consider the suggested timeline as indicative. We will keep you updated on this matter.
- The submitted manuscripts will undergo the regular peer-review process (at least two peer reviews), according to the journal’s standards. The final decision on the publication of the manuscripts will be made by the EMSA editors.
- The Authors will have to follow the journal guidelines and download the relevant templates from the journal’s site. For your convenience they can be downloaded from links below:
- When preparing manuscript, please do not insert a short biography at the very end.
- Please do include the program code of your contribution in the header of the title page.
- The page limits for accepted manuscripts are based on the template and include figures and references. Limits are as follows:
- max. 4 pages for oral or poster presentation,
- max. 6 pages for manuscripts of invited authors.
