LET'S GIVE IT A SPIN!
Workshop on recent progress, development, and applications of two-dimensional magnets in spintronics
which will be held
from May 21st to 23rd, 2025
in Belgrade, Serbia.
The three-day workshop aims to bring together researchers from the fields of two-dimensional (2D) materials, magnetism, and spintronics. The event will facilitate focused discussions on the achievements and challenges of various first-principles computational approaches, particularly those pioneered within the Psi-k community, in the study of 2D magnets and the prediction of related physical phenomena, including magnetic ordering, spin transport, and spin dynamics. Participation from young researchers is highly encouraged.
Each session comprises both oral (invited and contributed talks) and poster presentations. Invited talks will take 30 min (25+5 min for questions). Contributed talks will have duration of 15 min (12+3 min for questions). There will be 15 poster presenters. Total number of participants is limited to 50. The working language of the workshop is English.
