LET'S GIVE IT A SPIN!
Workshop on recent progress, development, and applications of two-dimensional magnets in spintronics
which will be held
from May 21st to 23rd, 2025
in Belgrade, Serbia.
The three-day workshop aims to bring together researchers from the fields of two-dimensional (2D) materials, magnetism, and spintronics. The event will facilitate focused discussions on the achievements and challenges of various first-principles computational approaches, particularly those pioneered within the Psi-k community, in the study of 2D magnets and the prediction of related physical phenomena, including magnetic ordering, spin transport, and spin dynamics. Participation from young researchers is highly encouraged.
Each session will include both invited and contributed talks. Invited talks will last 30 minutes (25 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for questions), while contributed talks will be 15 minutes long (12 minutes for presentation plus 3 minutes for questions). The working language of the workshop is English.
